As Scotland looks to meet ambitious targets for its offshore wind capacity, a new study finds that the scale and speed needed demand a strategic approach to supply chain development. The research saw experts from Haskoning and ASCO undertake a project to simulate a number of key scenarios for the transformation ahead – and highlighted an opportunity to avoid disruption by focusing on key port locations for the earliest roll-out.
